  1. Privacy Statement of WP Provider

    This is the privacy statement of WP Provider and its underlying labels. In this statement we will explain how we handle the personal data that we obtain in our contact with you. WP Provider complies with the provisions of the AVG (General Data Protection Regulation).

    Personal data collected

    We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data to guarantee our service to you. WP Provider processes this personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself.

    WP Provider processes data for the following purposes:

    • Providing and billing our services;
    • Sending of our newsletters;
    • Processing your order and inform you about the progress;
    • Storage for the purpose of executing the Agreement and publication in the Whois database;
    • Taking measures to improve the service and providing information or offers.

    Minors

    WP Provider does not intend to collect information from persons under the age of 18. We therefore do not offer services to minors. We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data being collected about children without parental permission. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us. We will then remove this information.

    Third parties:

    WP Provider uses Mollie (Mollie B.V., located at Keizersgracht 313, 1016 EE Amsterdam). We use Mollie’s services as a payment service provider and that data may be shared between the two parties in that context.

    Security

    We use the so-called SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer) for data transmission. The symbol of a key or closed lock in the status bar of your browser indicates that your data is being transmitted encrypted.
    Data from website visits

    We receive information based on your visits to our website. Examples are cookies. We use this information to get a better picture of our customers and to develop our services and website to suit your personal preferences.

    On the site we use Google Analytics to analyze the operation of the site and to measure the return of traffic sources. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. The information collected by Google is made anonymous as much as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not given.

    Social sharing option

    Our website includes buttons to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) web pages on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. These buttons work through pieces of code that originate from Facebook respectively Twitter and LinkedIn itself. Cookies are placed by means of this code. We have no influence on it. Read the privacy statements of Facebook, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

    Newsletter

    Periodically we send a digital newsletter by e-mail to our customers and to interested parties. We only send the newsletter to people who have indicated that they wish to receive it. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, so the recipient can unsubscribe directly. We only use the subscriber file for sending the mailing.

    Data retention period and inspection

    Once you end your service with us, we will retain some of your information based on the legal retention period. We delete data that is no longer needed. We destroy all data after the statutory retention period.

    You have the right to access the information we hold about you after you have ended your services with us. You can submit a request for inspection, correction or deletion to the ServiceDesk. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. We hereby request you to black out your passport photo and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. WP Provider will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

    Sharing with others

    WP Provider only provides information to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with legal obligations.

    Viewing and modifying data

    You have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your data. For our details see our contact page. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it concerns access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser.

    Changes

    This privacy statement is subject to change. Any changes will be announced on this page.
