Have you designed an element on one website and want to use it on another? With the new “Copy and Paste between Websites” feature, this is now possible without the need to create a JSON file, export it and import it to the new website. This saves time and improves your workflow.
Since the last update to version 3.1.1, you can copy any element in a website’s Editor using the Copy command (CMD/CTRL + C) or by right-clicking on the element and then selecting ‘copy’. Then you can paste the element into the Editor of another website by right-clicking where you want to paste the element and then choosing “Paste from another website. Then you will be prompted to click CMD/CTRL + V to confirm that you want to paste the element.
This feature helps you maintain consistency between your websites by automatically adopting the global styles, including colors and fonts, of the target website. This means you don’t have to customize the element to match your website.
Note that to use the “Copy and Paste between Websites” feature, both websites must have Elementor version 3.11 or higher. Moreover, locally hosted images and videos are not transferred, so you have to upload these files separately to the target website.
By using the “Copy and Paste between Websites” feature, you can save time and optimize your workflow, making it easier to create and maintain your websites.
